Makes browsing more private and a lot faster: https://lwn.net/Articles/646339/

I'd use it together with private browsing mode as the only browsing mode.

For a company that cites Privacy Protection as one of its key USPs, Jolla definitely needs to improve the browser. In-Private browsing is nothing. I want to block trackers and be able to set duckduckgo as the standard search engine.

As it is, the Jolla Browser definitely accepts trackers. What's more, you can't even clear the cookies or get rid of them otherwise. Highly annoying.

On Android you can now download the Ghostery browser. Maybe it also works for SFOS.

An other thing you might be interested in is changing the lifetime policy for cookies in about:config. See here:

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Network.cookie.lifetimePolicy

I changed it to 2, so that cookies are automatically deleted when I close the browser.
