I am on version 1.1.2.16 and this was the last update I got offered and could install. There was one after but I couldn't install that. Message was problem with store. This notification was gone at some point in time. I checked manually and automatically for updates but no update is offered for version 1.1.6.27.

From your other question we learn that your have either an account issue or an rpmDB issue, follow the steps in your developer-mode question - my comment is only good if you have sailfish-utilities or are able to install apps from store, the question linked below by ced117 is the way to go if you cannot do what I suggested (or if it fails). Also make sure that your device storage is not filled up eg is writable.

when you type in finger terminal
ssu s
If not, then
ssu domain sales
ssu ur
and
devel-su killall store-client
Check for SailfishOs updates in Settings.

After asking support for help a month ago and without any successful result I was resetting the phone and brought the developer mode back to live. I can now upgrade the OS again and enable the developer mode but still can't install the majority of applications from the jolla store.
