[fixed] settings is not responding when going into backup mode [answered]

After I had several weird problems with the app registry and no space left on the device (which i managed to fix by deleting music, videos and restarting the device) i still have this issue with backup (guess why i want to make a backup right now? ;) i tried to wait several minutes but settings is not responding anyway when entering backup. seems like everything else is normal again crossingmyfingers

i did a backup earlier which i did save on the phone so my wild guess is, that the backup is still there but corrupted. i tried to locate it in the folder .vaults but there doesn't seem to be any backup file.

suggestions anybody?
