whenever I load the sailfish sdk on my ubuntu 14.04 and try to run the emulator on any of the pre-saved projects, the whole system freezes. I'm unable to debug as well as the entire system freezes.

I've a similar freeze problem with Sailfish SDK. QT Creater freezes every time an action should be done. Im not able to load a project or simply opening any menu. Evenin open dialog it freezes. It is unusable for me.
My machine is not the newest, but a quadcore I7-2677M with 8Gb RAM and SSD Drive not able to handle this SDK? Is there any know problem with some drivers or hardware?

Update you virtaulbox to the lastest stable version.

Is hardware support for virtualization enabled in the BIOS? Has your computer enough memory to run a virtual machine with 1Gb memory?
