Evernote has a large user community. Taking and editing notes while on the go (mobile) is an essential task on mobile devices today. So far a properly working Evernote client for Jolla is missing.

Notekeeper for Nokia N9 looks like a beautiful Evernote client, and it has been open-sourced in March 2015 with the sources being published on Github.

I've been in touch with the developer of Notekeeper, and he will for the time being not work on a port for SailfishOS. He would welcome anyone grabbing the sources and porting it to Sailfish. He's even offering his help.

Can we find a developer at Jolla or in the Jolla community for working on a nice Evernote client?

I am aware of Bluewhale (released Nov 2013, last update spring 2014), but it is in its current state not working properly. Users are even reporting lost notes in the comments in the Jolla Store. This is a danger of losing precious information for any user not reading the comments.

there is the tag "app-request" to attract developers ;) "feature-request" suggests Jolla should implement it to the system.

I think the best way would be a note "provider" for the stock messaging app.

I've been trying to use the android Evernote on Sailfish X for couple weeks now. All seems to work fine except reminders. I've made over twenty test reminders and phone notified me only twice, first time over 2 hours late and second time 40 minutes late. And both time phone kept vibrating until I tapped the notification. If anybody knows any fixes for this, let me know. But we definitely need native Evernote app, I'm ready to drop a little donation for someone who can make that app.
