When I opened the phone application yesterday evening, I found my call history was empty. Not one single call. (I have used the phone to make and receive calls for two weeks now.) I cannot think of any event that might have cleared the history, especially because I'm quite certain it was there when I last made a call from the phone.
Anyone had the same problem?
Or any ideas about it?

I have exactly the same problem. And as far as I remember it also happened not far away from the moment I added a XMPP account (as mentioned by you, @ossi1967 in one of the comments of the main question).

apparently, when you delete account (for me it was facebook) sometimes(?) you get your call list erased:( don't whether it's as designed or a bug...

Sounds like you have your contacts synched with another account, like Google, and you've either accidentally or on purpose cut the connection, which also deletes call history. I think this might have happened to me also once when I changed TOH & the ambience linked with it, but I'm not sure.

BUT: I added another XMPP account - either yesterday or the day before, can't even remember. Of course this initiated a sync, too. Maybe that was what caused it?

kelvan ( 2014-01-05 03:34:32 +0300 )editIt happened to me several times too. At first I thought it was due to a reboot, however it can survive reboots too. So, it just happens once in a while and I can't tie it to any particular event.
