Ad-hoc wifi in SFOS 2.0 / Tablet?

Will the Jolla Tablet have the ability to connect to Ad-hoc Wifi Hotspots?

The answere given in this question by @llornkcor does not explain why there is no ad-hoc connection support on jolla phone sadly, so maybe it is a specific downside of the phones hardware?

Or is it a software implementation to allow sailfish to connect to Ad-hocs and we may see this coming in sailfish 2.0 in future?

Concidering we do not have a sim slot in the tablet, it will become a raising issue to some people using seperate data simcards not beeing able to connect to (n900/n9/n808) ad-hoc hotspots.
