Different Ambience backgrounds in cover view and applications

The background in cover view is darker than in lock screen but not blurred. The application background (e.g. settings or mail folder view) is not so dark than in cover view but also blurred. I would like to have in both cases the same type of background. It should be blurred and darker to enhance the readability for example in mail folder view especially to recognise the darker font for already read mails.

The background of the icon view seems to be a single dark color. The same color could be used as background for emails, see also here.

Update:

The email app uses different background brightness values in folder view, mail view (top area) and info view. The higher brightness used in the info view reduces the contrast and readability.

Please use always the same background style. I would prefer the combination of darker and blurred background!

Would you say it is a bug?
