Browser: Improve text input [duplicate]

Entering text in Browser forms is currently a real pain because the native cursor positioning methods are not available. Also copy/paste is not available.

Not really, this is only about copy and paste. I was rather complaining about the whole text edit handling, e.g. positioning the cursor.

Ah, it isn't quite clear from your post. (Hint: it can be edited) Others have complained of that too. I haven't thought about it, because it has been a problem for all touch-phones I have tried. With the N9(50)s otherwise brilliant way of selecting keyboard by swiping sideways, I often did it unintentionally. But yeah, trying to hit that first or last char just makes you wanna give up sometimes.
