There are a few ambience on the openrespos.net that can be installed then why can't these be installed?

Dylan Van Assche ( 2015-08-31 10:25:36 +0200 )edit@nkadithya31 - the ambience packages you find on Openrepos are 3rd party apps, they are user created, I know, one of them is my creation (Ambience AllBlack), but the ambience packages you see in Openrepos will never be found on Jolla Store. My ambience does not require a relevant TOH to be clipped onto the phone to make it work, but a TOH from Jolla Shop, will only give you ambience if you attach the TOH to your phone - in other words, buy one, you get the ambience and the nice coloured TOH itself; it's a business model.
The Ambience that comes with your white TOH is created by Jolla. Inside the white TOH is a white tag, that tag tells the phone to connect to the 'Jolla Store' to download that particular ambience package to your phone. Ambience on Openrepos are just ambience, no TOH/tag required to make them work, as a result, they are free for you to use!....I hope this goes some way to explaining why you cannot just download/get the Jolla ambience for free.

That would be really nice.
Thanks,

He shows how to prepare and create a .RPM package (a package that can be installed on Jolla phone). http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=92963
Of course though, content needs to be created, like your wallpaper choice, your ringtone and other tones. Be careful with using copyrighted songs for ringtones, most websites/forums don't allow/promote it. You may find yours being removed if you were to offer it up on Openrepos. There are lots of royalty free sounds and tunes one can use.
I did have 8 or 9 different ambience packages on Openrepos, but I removed them, most of them were a bit lame to be honest, so I removed them all, leaving Ambience AllBlack, bit only because it offers white highlighting instead of colour, but the package is still very limited. I created it for me but shared it.....890 downloads so far, I wonder how many keep and use it?, I know I do! ;)
I should mention that Schturman's guide for packaging .RPM files is for creation on the device (on Jolla phone) and NOT with Sailfish SDK. I still have not learned yet how to use the SDK.
