How can I play videos in the background? [answered]

Currently with the default video player the Jolla phone can play videos only on the foreground. If I open another app or put the video player on the backgroun it will go in pause mode. Let alone turn off the screen to save battery life. If I put the phone in my pocket chances are that the screen is hit somehow and the video stops playing as well. I'm only interested in what is being said on the video (mainly video podcast tv shows) and not watching 2 guys sitting one in front of the other. Can I solve the problem by installing a different video player? Which one?

Thank you.

You can install Watch'me from the Jolla Store. It has some shortcomings, but hopefully it will be developed further. But for just playing videos in the background that works just fine. Note: When you start playing a video, it's automatically played in landscape mode, so the swipe actions are rotated to fit the orientation. I was surprised first when a side sqipe closed and a swipe from top got me back to home screen, so FYI. :)

Tried Watch'me and it does the job. Thanks for your quick response.
