3.5G Indicator [duplicate]
My Jolla only ever shows 3G as an indicator. My network, Three UK, supports 3G, HSPA+, DC-HSDPA and 4G.
My N9 used to show 3.5G. I'm presuming the Jolla is connecting at 3.5G speeds but not indicating it.

Yes, 3.5G, and 2.5G would be also great to indicate the "edge" network.
goldenm ( 2014-01-06 03:22:08 +0200 )edit4G is not yet supported in the software. Will be available in Q1 (afairc) according to Jolla Inc.
Tanghus ( 2014-01-06 03:32:09 +0200 )editI wasn't asking for a 4G indicator.
aegis ( 2014-01-06 04:06:12 +0200 )editIf there would be an indicator for HSPA, there should also be an indicator for EDGE on 2G. For me even more interesting would be to see which frequency band the phone is using. But that could also be done in a separate network monitor app, which doesn't exist for Jolla yet.
