What video codec jolla uses when recording with its own camera? [closed]
I gave a video to a friend via email and he says that he can hear audio only. Now, I am wondering. Which video codec jolla phone is using?

VLC reports:
Codec: MPEG-4 Video (mp4v)
Codec: MPEG AAC Audio (mp4a)
ffprobe details as:
Stream #0:0(eng): Video: mpeg4 (Simple Profile) (mp4v / 0x7634706D), yuv420p, 1920x1088 [SAR 1:1 DAR 30:17], 13409 kb/s, 29.19 fps, 60 tbr, 3k tbn, 60 tbc (default)
Stream #0:1(eng): Audio: aac (mp4a / 0x6134706D), 48000 Hz, stereo, fltp, 133 kb/s (default)
http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=92230 tells "Oh, I hadn't realized that Jolla uses "old" MPEG4 h.263, instead of AVC/h.264. That would cause the need for higher bitrate. But there seems to be config file for h.264 aswell (GstOMXH264Enc-omxh264enc.prs), but not used for some reason?" I also stated here that the use of a newer codec might come useful.
