Different versions of OwnCloud and Sailfish OS

Hello together,

my problem is that I have OwnCloud 6 installed on a webserver and until now it runs pretty well with iPhones, iPads and Android Smartphones. Unfortunaly, my Jolla doesn't want to cooperate.

I have seen some stuff here on this forum, but I think that most of it is so mixed up with different software versions, so that I cannot find useful solutions for my problem to set it up.

I have a server which has a main address and the sub-path /owncloud/ and a german setup. I have no comment on how this works with OwnCloud 6.

Thank you in advance for helping me out!

And my second wish is: Can somebody with profound knowledge put together a list of solutions which will fix the problems with major releases of OwnCloud and Sailfish OS. And the list of solutions (a matrix table would be the best) should contain links to the solutions.

What have you tried? Are you able to provide me with logs (systemctl --user stop msyncd then MSYNCD_LOGGING_LEVEL=8 devel-su -p msyncd then in a different terminal devel-su journalctl -af | grep caldav (or grep carddav)) of a sync? Email them to chris dot adams at jolla dot com and I will investigate your issue.

I'm on Sailfish OS 1.1.9 and ownCloud 8.1. This is my configuration:

Calendar

Username: Your username Password: Your password Server address: [URL]/remote.php/caldav/ Note the / at the end. Leave the path blank. Deselect CardDAV.

Contacts

Username: Your username Password: Your password Server address: [URL]/remote.php/carddav/ Note the / at the end. Leave the path blank. Deselect CalDAV.

It used to work also on Sailfish OS 1.1.6/7 and ownCloud 7.x.

I don't know about other configurations, but since the OC 6 is discontinued, I doubt you'll find some documentation on that. Have you tried to search into this forum?

I just updated my OC to 8.1.3 today, but haven't yet had time to conduct any testing. I'll get back to this later this week, hopefully.

Oh yeah, I'm running early access 1.1.9.28.
