editing calendar events:

1) Tap on it, go to pulley (why??), edit, tap 'save' (top right corner), tap top left corner (why??) 2) tap and hold, select 'edit', edit, tap 'save (top right corner) Method 2) is a bit better. It omits the 'show calendar event' screen, going to and from 'edit screen' directly. The context menu is finicky and does not open quickly, however.

Still, I miss a easy, quick way to edit events, including assingning events to another calendar.

Do you tap on save?

of course. Both methods require a tap (top right) to confirm changes. Method 1) needs another tap (top left), to go back to calendar view, method 2) is slow to get in edit mode. Calendar looks slick, but actions are clumsy, compared to aCalendar+.

So, those are the two ways to edit a calendar event. What is the question? How you you like to see the edit functionality implemented? Method 2) is as snappy as it can get, IMHO...

Perhaps there could be "Save" and "Cancel" buttons at the bottom at the edit view, but that's against Jolla UI. And besides, if you just want to edit the topmost item, pulling left is faster than scrolling to bottom first.

what I'd like: one tap takes to select window (edit, duplicate, send, delete) second tap to edit >then edit item< third tap to confirm and back. Less is more, simpler is better.

Context menu tap and hold plus slide is awkward. Pulley then tap right to confirm plus tap left to go back is worse.

You do know that you can just swipe left or right anywhere on the edit page, regardless of where your scrolling postition is, right? No need to scroll anywhere.
