Hi,

After updating my son's Jolla to 1.1.6.27 the Battery State is shown as "Unknown", or 0%.

It was plugged in when I updated it. When I plug or unplug the device, the usual vibration is absent and even if I unplug it, it states that the charger is plugged in.

What is going on? How do I fix this?

Pim

Have you checked that the battery pins are unaffected, not dented in any way or pushed back or something? My friend's Jolla had the pins a little dented and it caused various problems with the battery.

OK it turns out the phone hadn't completed its update. Apparently it rebooted during the update without having completed it. Not sure why that happened (never seen it before with his or my own Jolla). I installed the update and now things seem to work again, including vibration, showing the status and charging. Quite a relief ..
