[Suggestion] Keep phone application launched after incoming call
Last night I received a phone call soon after I had booted my Jolla. I had not yet launched the phone application, but the normal answer/ignore screen was presented. After the call was finished I swiped the phone view away and continued surfing. Some time later I wanted to make a phone call, but when I swiped to home screen there was no phone app cover. I expected to find one as I had been in the phone app just a couple of minutes earlier.
Are you sure you did not accidentally close (=swiped from the top) the call app instead?

Mohjive ( 2015-10-02 14:28:49 +0200 )edit@tortoisedoc: to verify I just now closed the phone app, then made a call to my Jolla. After the call I swiped the app away and I could see that cover showing "call ended", but as soon as that timed out (and you would normally be returned to the call log) the cover disappeared.
Mohjive ( 2015-10-02 14:42:51 +0200 )editI think that the home screen should contain only those apps which were launched by user. Otherwise we had to show clock after alarm sounded, IM message (some Android apps have pop up windows) arrives and so on.
kandelabra ( 2015-10-02 18:53:56 +0200 )edit@kandelabra: the difference, in my view, is that the alarm is an overlay and not an application itself and the same goes for popup windows (as you mention, even if I've never seen those myself so I would be glad if you explained how and when those occur).
To me an incoming call is somewhat synonymous to an incoming sms - if I ignore it nothing happens but if I tap it the message app is opened (and stays open). I expect the same behavior when rejecting or accepting a phone call.
