This morning I was trying to ssh into my jolla device only to realize that it's not possible any more. So I entered developer mode in system settings and saw that the remote ssh access was disabled. I enabled it but when i hit save i was asked for a security code. I never defined any security code so I'm currently a bit puzzled on where that originates from. I did recently update to sailfishOS 2.0 and might have accidently disabled the ssh access as i was having the developer mode page in the setting app open yesterday. So what I wonder is - with the sailfishOS2.0 update - was there some default security code configured? One more thing i did yesterday the first time since i update, i used usb networking to ssh into the phone, that was also the reason i had the developer mode page in the system settings app open, to see the ip. Also, when i lock the device and unlock it again, I am not asked for a code, though in the device lock page in system settings it is set to autolock after 10 minutes.

Problem solved - seems at some point in time long ago I must have set that lock code. I never ever was asked for it as i never ever changed anything that would have required that code it seems, only after having remote access disabled i was asked when trying to rev enable it again. Luckily i figured it out by trying the codes i most likely would have used.
