Should event icons correspond to LED color?

Absolutely!
A colleague's Android phone goes one step further. The nofification LED's colour matches the colour of the associated app in the launcher. Very easy and intuitive.
Not only that, but multiple notifications are queued, so you may get e.g. a green flash, an orange flash and a blue flash and you know at a glance that you have a missed call, a new email and a new SMS.
Are we going to get beaten by... Android?
