Is Jolla going to offer screen protectors for their device, or are there any suggestions for items made for other devices already on the market that would fit Jolla's screen?

According to Schaf_reloaded's tweet a screenprotector for the Nokia Lumia 925 works ok.
I've put a Nokia Lumia 920 screenprotector on mine, as I couldn't find a 925 one. It needed some tweaking
- cutouts for the front camera and the proximity sensor (use the factory added screen shield as a template!), and preferably an as dustless environment as possible when attaching it (I've got 2-3 miniscule dust particles, up in the top corner, that I can't get rid of) -
but sizewise it actually works quite well: It's about ~2mm too narrow, and ~0,5mm too short, but will do.

it's about protection, but I understand that the other question is about cases.
