Have a look at www.fairphone.com. They're reporting that Jolla is working to adapt SFOS2.0 to Fairphone 2. Here's the link: https://www.fairphone.com/2015/10/22/jolla-community-working-on-sailfish-os-for-the-fairphone-2/ Really curious how that's going,

My favorite part is that FairPhone 2 also seems to have extension pogopins available à la TOH.

So once the full Sailfish OS (including support for Android Apps) gets available for FairPhones and I upgrade my phone, I won't be losing the point I like the most about the physical device that Jolla's been selling.

I doubt that the other half for Jolla will be compatible with the Fairphone 2

The Jolla and FairPhone2 pogo pins aren't directly compatible :

  • Jolla uses a I2C bus + IRQ to talk with other half
  • According to documentation Jolla uses an USB bus

But still, one of the main selling point for the Jolla for me was the possibility to extend the phone, and on the day I switch to FairPhone (which should be once we get official Sailfish OS with Dalvik - which I fact should be soon) I will still have the possibility to do so (and for the record, Dirk van Leersum has already started playing for this)
