Default application cover image?
Currently the cover is blank by default. Would be better to make it display at least a snapshot of previous state of the app's window. Or even make it a user preference.
We have moved to a new Sailfish OS Forum. Please start new discussions there.

N900 & N9 show the live view of the application window just fine & the application is running anyway. So I think live view should be the default. :)
MartinK ( 2014-01-08 01:58:13 +0200 )editIt depends on developer now. Developer can set cover to null to get application's screenshot instead. It's not a common practice, however (maybe because of application template in SDK that includes a simple cover?)
trminator ( 2014-01-16 10:54:48 +0200 )editCurrently for me it is hard to distinguish quickly which cover is which application. It takes me seconds to figure out what is what when I have 5-6 active covers. A better way(color, logo etc.) is needed to help selecting the right cover.
