Vault backup to sd in recovery mode

My phone jammed during newest 2.0 Saimaa update and it won't start up further than Jolla logo. I have to make factory reset but before reset I would like to get my backup data moved to sd card. How can I transfer/copy backup vault file(s) to sd card in recovery mode?

I'm familiar with that instruction but it doesn't advice how to copy that vault backup. Can I copy it like this: mkdir /mysd/Backup

cp /myhome/nemo/.vault /mysd/Backup

Or how should I do it?
