Hey Guys,

Slack is gaining a lot of popularity can someone please help to get a native slack client like we have IRC?

a few month ago I found this repo: https://github.com/call-a3/Sailfish-Slack so there is a project but it is far from finished

As a workarund you may use IRC or XMPP slack gateway, check https://YOURTEAM.slack.com/account/gateways

But these gateways has to be enabled in first place by your team owner.

I did enable IRC and XMPP from my slack account and give it a try but I am not able to see if it's connected or not. And the messages are also not going.
