hi 2 all, one of my killer apps on nokia n900 was portabase, a really very useful database application. homepage: /http://portabase.sourceforge.net/ it is written in QT4. License is GPLv2. Is it very difficult to do a port on sailfishOS? i'm not a programmer, so i can only help only a little doing this. bit i would do what i can ... yours HBG

hi 2 all, portabase will be ported to QT5 by the author himself. i will ask him whether he will provide a SFOS version. is anybody here who can do this job ?

No. QT4 doesn't run on Wayland plus it will probably need a big overhaul to adapt it to SFOS.
You can always file an app-request (that will have the same functionality) here in TJC and if a dev finds it interesting it might write one.
I had a look. It should be doable. Now the small problem of getting some time. The apo really looks like something that will add value to sailfish.

nice to hear that it's doable and that you think thats it's worth to do it. if i can help - mainly testing -i will do my best. hope you'll find some time. I used it as a database and edited it on my old n900 (on the go) windows (@ work) and linux (@home) yours HBG

Sounds great. I just need to set some time aside and then we set up a project - orovided work and other calamities dont stoo me :)
