Like in N9, maybe a system RSS Feed app should be included in the next update, with the possibility of synching automatically and with notifications

It was already planned for the last update, so I hope it will be in the next one (see release notes of 1.1.9, section "next OS upgrade") In any case, it's already planned and implemented by Jolla.

There is a feed reader in the Jolla App Store (Tidings). What it lacks is the ability to sync in the background (3rd party apps just cannot do this) an push items to the events screen. IMHO the aim should should be to make these things possible for every application, so that Tidings can make use of it as well as other apps.
