SDK lagging on Ubuntu 15.10

Hi,

I have a quite annoying problem with the SDK on Ubuntu 15.10. SDK lags about every 5 seconds and it lasts about 2 seconds so it is quite a pain to develop atm. Anyone else having or has had this kind of problem? I just recently switched to Ubuntu on my main machine but starting to feel like installing windows back because Sailfish SDK is my #1 most used program and it should run flawless :D

My machine is thinkpad t440 with SSD and Ubuntu is 64 bit version.

Not sure if we are getting the same thing but the only time i see lags is when only the IDE is running. If i have the SDK and Emulator running it works fine. Arch linux my distro on a quite powerful machine.

Hi, I run Ubuntu 15.10 on a T450s with ssd. No pboblems here. Also 64 Bit. I use the proprietary Prime driver for the Nvidia card(always in intel Mode).

What's the VirtualBox version ?

Mine is 5.0.14 from Ubuntu repositories

The problem was indeed that SDK lags when only IDE was running, but yesterday morning Ubuntu told me that some virtual box kernel driver wasn't found or not configured correctly so I reinstalled / reconfigured it and after that the MerSDK was running properly and the lagging of IDE ended. Thanks for replies!

BTW the command that I run to reconfigure the kernel driver was:

sudo /usr/lib/virtualbox/vboxdrv.sh setup

That made the trick for me.
