Native Opera
There used to be one for Maemo, and would be nice towhy can't we have one for Jolla? The thing with Opera is that it proven to be most reliable, and fast. I really wanted to use Jolla browser, but it's slower, and pages hung up sometimed. These things are not
As far as I can make out, Opera doesn't have Wayland support, so it doesn't look like it would work on Sailfish. Firefox and Chromium (Ozone-wayland) do however.

(If you really want to, the older android version of Opera 12 works fine on Sailfish for me. I think the newer chrome based versions should also work fine.)

I always used the Opera Turbo feature so traffic would go through Opera servers where they compressed/formatted/downscaled it. This let me browse the web with 2G easily. Awesome for battery too! Native Opera would be great! I don't mind adds, if I recall correctly they were on landing page or unobstrusive.

NuklearFart ( 2016-03-10 16:53:59 +0200 )edit@alloj - I am successfully using the android version of Yandex Opera Mini without any issues. It is the same Opera Mini rebranded by Yandex. (P.S: Please use your own judgement before downloading from the posted link - I haven't verified if the posted apk there is safe.)
