Android icons sync in Shotwell photo manager

When I sync my Jolla with Shotwell photo manager (on Fedora 23 Linux), lots of Android icons & images appear in Shotwell. Those images aren't visible in the Jolla Gallery app. There are both icons, and photos (presumably from free Android apps).
Is there any way to stop them appearing? It's really annoying.
