As Jolla seams do make a stable deal with Intex and the old Jolla Phone is out of stock I would wish that Jolla takes over the Distribution of the Aqua Fish for Europe. They have a running store without products and experience with the EU market and Intex has a wanted product.

Lets go sailors and make Money...

That would be the most sensible thing to do but that does not mean it will be done...

I know is not easy but they (Jolla company) should do the same, be a distributor of the Turing Phone.

And the Fairphone if it is officially supported. In general the Jolla Store should be the first address regarding products running with Sailfish OS

I think it doesn't make sense for jolla to distribute the aquafish.

  1. Jolla announced that their strategy is sailfish licencing and development
  2. A hardware dealer has to deal with warranty claims , repairs , support ... jolla has no capacities for all that and Intex has no repair network in Europe.
  3. the device is not tailored for the European market. The 4g bands do not match, the super apps don't, the manufacturer is unknown and I am quite sure you need costly certification to meet European legal requirements. Certainly some sailors don't care about all that, but you won't conquer the mass market with those prerequisites.

I guess we as sailor enthusiasts will find other ways to get hold of the AquaFish :-)

Guys, let Fairphone and Intex sell their phones on their own pages, Jolla doesn't have the resources and logistics for selling phones.
