@ropelius - well, I suppose you could try gluing the stub back on (a dot of superglue should do it, also give it time to dry properly, you don't want that stub being stuck inside the slot).
If not, you can download your ambience via terminal. For example, as I'm one of the First One's, I would type this into terminal;
pkcon install ambience-the-first-one
and bingo!, that ambience starts downloading onto your device.Other than that, I'm not sure what else to say, one or both of the above should get you back in the game.
Spam Hunter ( 2016-05-04 15:08:32 +0200 )edityeah but NFC fails, it just says not ready, and without that toholed doesn't work
ropelius ( 2016-05-04 15:13:38 +0200 )editSorry, seems I have misunderstood your question.
Are saying the actual micro switch from within the phone has broken off?
Spam Hunter ( 2016-05-04 23:21:56 +0200 )edityeah thats what is gone and dont know where, apparently it came loose when i switched tohs.
ropelius ( 2016-05-05 10:01:48 +0200 )editRight, that clarifies that problem then. How long have you had the phone?, might be worth contacting Jolla's Zendesk, telling them what has happened, perhaps it can be repaired/replaced under warranty (long shot but worth a try I would think).
Try this link; https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/201440967-Repair-Service-for-online-customers-shop-jolla-com- if you were not an online store customer, there is another link provided within to request repair. Good luck. I see no other option now we have established that a micro switch is broken from the mainboard.
