I am a normal user and I was among the first ones to buy the jolla phone. It was good but getting old.

Is there a chance I could install (without big experience in coding) install SFOS on OnePlus 3? Or another phone with good specs?

Thanks for your opinions/help! BR, tt

For already ported phones look here: https://wiki.merproject.org/wiki/Adaptations/libhybris.

I am afraid, it will not be completely straight-forward for an average end-user to install those ports, though. For ports using even newer phones you could try a deep dive into porting SFOS (it is fun) or wait for someone else doing the job for you. ;)

You can find more on porting SFOS at this site: https://sailfishos.org/develop/hadk/.

Anyway, good luck! :)

ps.:To push luck even a bit harder, I have added a community port request to this thread: https://together.jolla.com/question/128326/community-port-requests-2016/. Maybe you or someone else could fill in the technical specifications.

When looking for a new device, take into account that all 64-bit devices are not supported yet. There are several porters working on 64-bit support, but the work is not finished yet.

There are community ports of SailfishOS to different devices, but it might take some time to be portted to oneplus 3. And it might take some skill to install and some time to be usable as everyday OS

Edit: If I remember correctly SailfishOS port to oneplus devices is in its alpha stages.
