The Jolla C edition phone is a geekier-than-normal kind of device and thus no cables should be included, imho.

But my guess is that a normal set of cable+charger+headset will be in the box. ...based on the close relationship to the Intex Aquafish.

@vattuvarg: Even simple consumer devices come without chargers these days, so it shouldn't be a matter of being geekier than others.... BTW, your answer implies that you have seen the Aquafish salesbox? Is this true?

I have not seen the content of the Aquafish box.

@vattuvarg: Oh, what a pity. I'm still afraid it was cancelled (it should have been launched months ago according to the original press releases). - Still... you're making assumptions about the Jolla C based on the sales box of the Aquafish that you now say you've never seen? Oh c'mon - you have seen hundreds of them and you're under an NDA! Please give me a secret hint that it's true. :)

A budget phone like the Aquafish is designed for new users. New users don't have all the cables and stuff. The Jolla-C is sold to enthusiasts and devs. Those have boxfuls of cables and stuff and really don't need more of it. ...but they get the same box as the newbies with the same stuff inside.

Part lonewolf reverse engineering and part guessing. Sorry...

No. I found only one short USB-cable* (end-to-end 17cm) and no charger in the box.

*) USB 1.0/2.0 Typ-A plug to USB 2.0 Micro-B plug

To be honest, I wouldn't use a bundled USB charger of questionable origin, if you could have a high-performant premium charger for around 10-15€ already. Call it a bit paranoid, but I've already seen "el cheapo" USB chargers which either went incredibly hot or had really weird electrical characteristics and oszillating voltages. Get yourself one of the really good ones and you'll be fine for a long time. It won't turn you bankrupt anyways...
