For me the currently used version by some people here on TJC with version number 2.0.2.43 or 2.0.2.45 is AFAIK not an official early access version. It's just available as it was needed to release it to get the Jolla-C devices out and delivered. I presume that Jolla will release a new early-access version which may be 2.0.2.45 or maybe 2.0.2.47+ and if some version higher than .45 they may have addressed some of the reported bugs already?

So may I kindly ask to wait for the next early access release before reporting any new bugs for those versions please?

Edit: I changed the question and excluded 2.0.2.45, as (from comments) it seems to be very likely that 2.0.2.45 will be the next early-access version. IMHO my request is still valid for bug reports for 2.0.2.43 though.

And how will Jolla know which bugs to fix in this upcoming official release if we do not report them, pray tell?

I appreciate that it may be annoying to those correctly following the official path to see a lot of noise about an update they do not (yet) have but hopefully this situation will not last very long.

Well they have their QA + the Community Beta Group and the first Jolla C owners. If they didn't push it to early access it means that they are possibly still polishing it and/or have enough feedback in regard to their workforce. If they want reports from us, they will push it to early access.

Maybe, maybe not. As long as jolla is not asking us to stop reporting bugs I would assume they appreciate it.

Currently I consider 2.0.2.45 as very-early-beta since it has not even been released as early-adopter-preview. For this reason I have not even installed it on any of my devices, even though there seem to be quite delicious features coming into it...

in case they don't want them, they can just close all 2.0.2.43 /45 tagged questions, or filter them out. i don't see the problem in reporting bugs.

We have not yet internally approved 2.0.2.45 as ready for Early Access for Tablet and Jolla1 as there are still things we need to confirm and therefore cannot recommend using it yet.

That being said, we obviously were confident enough to have 2.0.2.43 as factory release for Jolla C. We do appreciate community's help and for sure take all reported issues here seriously even though we do not always have time to properly respond here.

I wouldn't encourage people trying the release yet with Jolla or Tablet, but if you have already installed it and see some issues, reporting them in TJC is useful.

Thanks for the official answer. It's ok for me if it is ok for you. I thought it to be unncessary to report bugs of an already outdated version of 2.0.2.43 that isn't even released officially for those devices. But if you find it useful I'm completely fine with it. My question ist answered and I'll close it. Thank you. I hope 2.0.2.45+ will be released officially as early access version in the near future. I'm really keen to test it.

@veskuh many thanks for the late reply. The Wish would have been to have it something sooner from someone of jolla in this form (not especially as official).
@naytsyrhc, for me the official channel is jolla blog, and journalist. Maybe tjc too but with "official" keyword and referenced links.
Otherwise i join you that is good that a jolla-man communicate it here.

Well, the good news is that the stream of reports has dried out. I very much doubt that this request was the reason which leaves the possibility that perhaps all there was to report has been reported. That gives me a lot of confidence and a good feeling about the future :)
