Hello all,

seems that we have the surprise that the development of sfos goes stronger.
For some weeks we discovered the aurajoki which comes from the jolla c phone.

And now we discover the espoonjoki.
What is it for a software please?
Could someone deliver some more info, where does it comes? (i mean with it, from which phone).
And maybe what else comes for main features and main improvement (don't need to have deep mini details).
Is juts for having a better perception of it.

Many thanks in advance.

cheers

look here, maybe someone can wrap up the changes indeed. It is compatible to all device as far as i could test. No Problems, some bugs fixed, some new features with new bug and unrelated new bugs :D I guess we will not see 2.0.3.11 as early access but an espoonjoki with different version and fixed LTE issue when this has been accomplished. Aurajoki was to introduce dual sim for Jolla C mainly but also compatible with all sailfish device from my testing. But there had been a slight warning from Jolla to not try Aurajoki on J1 and Tablet afair.

Espoonjoki has been exposed probably so that the two guys getting the turing phone can actually use it ;)

Espoonjoki (2.0.3) is the software version running on those few delivered Turing phones(see this Twitter link for a short demo video: https://twitter.com/LavishVintage/status/756736798835957761).

Turing phone hardware specs probably need some unreleased elements which are part of SFOS 2.0.3 - that doesn't mean that the software upgrade is ready for public testing and for other Jolla/SFOS hardware - therefore it's not published and there's no changelog yet. . It is possible to install 2.0.3 the unofficial way, changing ssu releasenumber - but that's not recommended. There was a similar situation when Jolla delivered the Jolla Tablet.

To test latest available SFOS versions I'd suggest to enable early access releases(you probably already know about it). You can activate it in your Jolla account settings: https://account.jolla.com/
