Backup & restore home partiton on Jolla Tablet

I was fiddling around with the system on my tablet a little and now Sailfish won't boot. Recovery mode works just fine though, and I'd like to know which /dev device is the home partition and if it's okay to make a backup of it with dd, reset the tablet, then dd it back in after.

you can use shell from recovery and reverse your changes if you remember what...

@schturman yeah, already tried that with no luck. :/ Seems like some really odd changes can make it hang during boot.

My tablet was bricked a while ago after update. Forgot about it for a while but today suddenly started working to recover it. I downloaded the data with the help of recovery mode. I run sshd. Entered the lockcode. Then in another terminal login with ssh and run the mount command.

mount /dev/sailfish/home /mnt/homefs
