misc11 ( 2016-09-08 20:55:04 +0200 )editIs there a way to stop trivial edits floating to the top?
DaveRo ( 2016-09-08 21:29:25 +0200 )editObviously not ;)
DaveRo ( 2016-09-08 21:35:47 +0200 )edit@misc11, for bug reports it's somewhat accepted to update the report if it's important and hasn't been fixed yet for a long time, but for feature requests it makes no sense. The features won't be implemented faster because you bump their request threads, in fact no one says they will ever be implemented at all, so you would just endlessly bump their threads and make people look over new bug reports or feature requests. Btw @coderus please merge the pull requests for Tor settings and SSH notification settings.
nthn ( 2016-09-08 22:06:29 +0200 )editIt is a good thing that headlines get corrected and that the right tags are used. One frequent issue is the use of the how-to tag for questions. The downside is that the question is pushed to the top of the list of questions.
But remember that not only @misc11 should be in that headline. I should be in there too.
The key is to get the edit right the first time around. The gauntlet seems to start at edit two.
