(so sorry if this is a duplicate, tried to search, but I'm not sure of the "cancel delete timer bar" -feature's official name)

Would be lots quicker to delete emails, sms's etc if the "cancel delete timer bar" had a button or gesture to OK the delete right away insted of waiting the 5 seconds on each delete...

Eg. instead of waiting the full 5 secs user could just swipe right/left/up/down, or press a button on the progress bar to OK the delete right away.

you can not wait and continue deleting other emails, or just leave/close app, action will be executed immediately then.

Hi @ehakkarainen - First things firstly!,........the feature/component you talk of is known as the 'Remorse Timer'.

Had you known the correct term, a search here on TJC would reveal a plethora of previously asked questions/duplicates on this subject; i.e. https://together.jolla.com/question/60844/idea-suggestion-remorse-timer-accelerateconfirm/

No, the Remorse Timer doesn't have any configuration settings. However, on Openrepos, you will find a few Patches (to be used with Patchmanager, also found on Openrepos) that will give some control to how many seconds the Remorse Timer runs - having said that, you don't have to wait for the Remorse Timer to finish, simply navigate away from the page/application and the delete will go ahead anyway - there is no need to wait while it finishes.

A patch by Ancelad, allows for fine control of Remorse Timer;

https://openrepos.net/content/ancelad/patch-remorse-items-timeout-controls - You will need Patchmanager to use this Patch;

https://openrepos.net/content/sfietkonstantin/patchmanager-jolla-settings

Not quite what you are asking for, but goes someway to answering your question.

OK - Did not know that I can continue without waiting - thanks! (obvious when You think how everything is done in SFOS...)

But maybe a better / more explanatory text on the remorse timer would help others to avoid the same pitfall?

You don't need to wait, you can continue right away. Therefore, there's no need for a configuration setting or thelike.
