Hi folks, it might be a bit outdated but I'm actually now searching for a TOH with good quality. I know that there were many shops in the past where you could order them but seems that most of them are gone. I also remember that the initial TOH Development kit had not the best dimensions (at least what I heard). So my questions are:

  1. Does somebody sell his TOH, preferable in black, for a good price?
  2. Is there any shop left for buying, preferable for less than 10€, if possible?
  3. Is there a better .stl file for 3D printing compared to the official one?
  4. Which printing method/material should be preferred if I want to get one printed myself? Any tricks to know before I start?

My idea is to reuse my broken Latsu flip cover since only the phone holder is really broken. Unfortunately any other cover like this is either too big (not for Jollas) or so bad quality that you can forget it. And the Latsu one is not available anymore. So I want to glue a TOH to the remaining Latsu cover which I think would look very nice. If It works out I will put a detailed description of my how-to here, of course.

Hope somebody is still into TOH and can help.

I printed several TOH covers for my Jolla1, using a Mendel90 3D printer. The printed results varied, but none of them were a good fit and the supplied .stl file generated errors in just about every editing software I tried. I gave up in the end, after printing/editing/adjusting some 30 odd covers, the nicest looking one was printed using chameleon filament (heat sensitive/changes colour). I tried with both ABS and PLA.

Also, there is this; http://www.flypig.co.uk/toh/

Meanwhile, on eBay Ireland; http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=262677023222 (plain white, but you could customise it yourself!?

Also on eBay, may not be the cheapest way to get a TOH, but there is also a 'broken' Jolla First One for auction; http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=222283488156

@fmotl: thanks for the links. Flypig I found myself but is a bit too pricey for my taste. the plain white on eBay I think is interesting, since I already have a white one - good for experimenting. The second eBay link is already dead as it seems, but thanks anyway.

@PatsJolla - you're welcome. That's odd, all links work for me.

There are several shops in Finland from where you can still order Aloe TOH's if you are interested... http://hinta.fi/776108/jolla-other-half-cover-aloe

Good to know @japsi, but seriously, who wants a light blue TOH?, I guess some might like it, but for me personally, I find it's a little to 'feminine' for my liking :)

Well I wouldn't mind the color just the risk of gluing and then ruining the original TOH makes it not so cheap for me. Also postage is the same price like the product is a bit too much in my eyes, but I will keep an eye on the page. At least there are still some available. Thanks for the link.

I found help from a user here on TJC who could send me one of his older TOHs. So this thread is closed/obsolete
