Hi,
It would be great if we could share Ambiances across sailfish devices. Basically, sending a package through which one would be able to install the Ambiance (with all the settings included).
It would be work like the TOH that we were buying on Jolla 1, but we would let anyone export and share ambiances over the Internet, through bluetooth etc.

i think it would suffice to have ambiences in store or harbour: all the official onces, easy downloadable and installable. like patchmanager 2.0?
I tried submitting my 'ambience-allblack' to harbour and it got rejected, but of course, I uploaded to Openrepos instead. Harbour said they have no plans to allow ambience packages for the foreseeable future.

It's possible to create Ambience if you know how to make rpm packages. Here you have example of Ambience like that https://openrepos.net/content/fravaccaro/mario-ambience

I think it would be pretty easy to implement; an app that does the following things;
- Create a new ambience; It's already possible to create the graphics for it in the device so what's needed is just to bind in the sounds.
- Pack a created ambience into a RPM package
- Send the RPM via BT connection
- Receive an RPM via BT connection
- Unpack the RPM into device
