How to install sailorgram from GitHub? [answered]

Hello

I'm new to Sailfish OS and would like to install sailorgram from GitHub.

How can I install it? What do I have to download/execute?

The last public release is on Openrepos.net (see answer by h.berd above). In case you are a looking for the newest beta, you can directly download it here: https://github.com/QtGram/SailorGram-BETA/raw/master/beta/harbour-sailorgram-0.89-13.armv7hl.rpm

I'm using the latest beta version which is needed for Supergroups (for example "Sailfish OS Fan Club" group). This beta has some limitations like no background daemon, no possibility to post stickers and some users report that it can be unstable.

Btw: You need to allow installation of untrusted software in settings, before you can install software from outside Jolla store.

Thank you for your answer. The public release works fine for me. I just wasn't sure, if this version is under active developpement.

Yes it's under active development, even though the last published version is getting old. The developer had to do a lot of work on the used Telegram library. Great to hear it's working :) I close your question since you got an answer.

Hi,

just install warehouse in jolla store, where you will find sailorgram via openrepos. After that follow some of the instructions which are described here: https://together.jolla.com/question/152873/sailorgram-phone_number_invalid/
