Outdated camera app

It's 2017 and the camera app is from 2013. Please Jolla if you really listen to people then add panorama feature as well as Spherical photo capturing ability just like Google Street View app or just make the phone compatible for it. a humble request from one of the hardcore fans of your works.

We still can use 8mp for decent photography. We just need a better camera app for the moment. But that is not an appropriate reason for downvoting. new camera means new phone as well. but i want a good camera app for all the existing customers !! please understand.

@Rajuaa00 the Mpix's mean exactly nothing when the optics are what they are :)

I have a pretty aged SLR with just about 3Mpix image sensor and it still blows the competition away like nothing you have ever seen...

@juiceme: The optics together with the sensor matters, software is just the spice on top. Most smartphone manufacturers just add some "megapixels" with bad sensor, a trick we know already from the compact-cameras. To the facts - my old HTC Desire makes better photos than Jolla [1/C/AquaFish].

You are right but isn't it possible to add spherical and panoramic features to the existing mobiles??
