Together email notification for new posts only

The email notification for tag subscriptions on the Together (Askbot) platform includes every single action, including comments.
Since the daily digest feature does not work, setting this to instant notifications leads to receiving too many emails.
My intention is to be able to follow new posts having specific tags (e.g. announcement, official) and receive a single email for each one. I could then specifically choose to follow the ones I am interested in, so that I can be notified for everything, including comments.
Is there any way of receving email notifications only for new posts?
