Native Yandex apps for Sailfish OS will be GREAT

Considering Jolla and the Russian government's proximity - if Yandex ("Russian Google") had native applications for Sailfish OS - it would be very, very interesting and useful. Yandex services are very rich - plenty of space in the cloud, great mail services, contacts sync, maps, etc. Maybe someone from Russian friends/developers is working on such an option? ...

Doubt it. Yandex is not very friendly to Russian gov. And Russian gov is not very friendly to Yandex, too. Probably it's a good thing.

They could still ensure Sailfishos apps tho; that'd be cool. Of course, as long as the userbase is small, this is NGTH.

pelligro, you should contact with Yandex and tell them so :D

Yandex is one of the search engine alternatives already so adding the other services would indeed be a good idea.

Not sure how getting an app from Aptoide makes Yandex team "interestings guys".

Also, the new version of Yandex Maps sucks BIG wads. I had to roll back to 3.84, it was that bad.
