Harbour system and Store should support regional apps (like local newspaper), that are not working or relevant outside of a country.
We have moved to a new Sailfish OS Forum. Please start new discussions there.

It shouldn't be too restrictive, though. If I e.g. visit Finland and want to go by bus there, I would like to be able to use e.g. the Helsinki bus app in my Jolla, even though it has a German SIM. And maybe I even want to learn Finnish by reading a local newspaper on my phone while being there...
duesselschorsch ( 2014-01-17 12:45:16 +0200 )editYes, but the decision should be up to the app developer.
Jukka ( 2014-01-17 12:47:08 +0200 )editI think the decision should be up to the user, but developer could add suggestions about in which countries the app is targeted to.
Acce ( 2014-01-18 09:00:57 +0200 )editProbably better to let the developer decide: Not right now, but in the future we may see applications that basically wrap commercial content and bring it to the device. The person/company publishing the content/application may not have the rights do distribute this content outside a specific region.
