I wanted to remove the android support so I did the following:-

  1. pkcon remove aliendalvik

The phone did not reboot, it displayed Recovery: Connect USB cable and telnet to address 10.42.66.66

I opened a telnet session from windows and selected option number 1. Factory reset

In the Telnet, I asked e for few prompts and I input the values. It ran the script and the recovery was mentioned as successful, but when the phone restarted, it is still displaying - Recovery: Connect USB cable and telnet to address 10.42.66.66 message and phone is not booting up.

Any possible solutions?

@coderus, no, also before pkcon remove aliendalvik, I had tried your script which makes Aquafish thinks as Jolla C, and I was not able to run the script successfully, it ran the script but did not affect any change, any other suggestion is welcom

Strange really :), I did telnet with windows it had failed, I tried a linux system, and it worked like a charm.. can't explain why, may be something to do with drivers..

So, your phone is all working now?

With regard to WindowsOS & Telnet, an RNDIS driver is required to make the phone communicate with the PC.
