Jolla C audio jack broken
Hello there!
I have audio jack broken on my Jolla C phone. How hard could it be to replace it by myself and is there any docs regarding this peace of hardware?
UPD: disassembling of Jolla C showed, that the audio jack is really non standard. I've disassembled a couple of my old phones and non of them matched. Aliexpress didn't helped either. So can anyone share the partnumber of this jack or link where i can buy it?
Hi it shouldn't be too hard to change it if you know how to solder. You need a very thin/sharp top though. Unscrewing the phone is not hard but finding a replacement is really painful I suppose you check in alibaba shop maybe you are lucky or somebody here in the forum can send you his broken mainboard for you to unsolder it

blackish ( 2017-08-01 15:24:32 +0200 )editwell the jack itsself is standardized so it fits 3,5mm headsets, that's clear, but the soldering points I think are more or less specific for intex aqua fish/jolla C. Probably you need to go by look if you can not find any serial number or model no from the plug. check this ifixit page for detailed pictures: https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Jolla+C+-+Intex+Aqua+Fish+Teardown/79742
