Since the last update (2.1.1.24), it is possible to connect to wifi networks using PEAP. There also seem to be a menu in the settings listing installed certificates, although I'm not sure since when it dates.

How is it possible to add private certificates to the system, so that they can be used when connecting to the network ? Enclosed is a screenshot of the settings I have on my computer for the connection, in case that is needed.

Hi @Nicocys, your screenshot wasn't showing, so I fixed it. Welcome to TJC.

Sailfish OS 2.1.1.x finally brings the WPA2 Enterprise support in the settings GUI but the certificate management for personal user certificates is still missing.

But there is a workaround to connect to such WIFI networks with a manual configuration: Just follow this guide and create a config file by yourself or use this app.

Thanks for the tip, although the provided examples doesn't seem to use a private key. Anyway, there's no rush on my side, just wanted to have an idea if this is planned and, who knows, maybe get a rough estimate of when that would be planned.

Well IIRC there are some infos available in the comments - I am using my university's eduroam WIFI also with a private certificate and I had to add the additional options ClientCertFile= for the *.crt.pem file, PrivateKeyFile= for the *.key.pem file and PrivateKeyPassphrase= if your user certificate is password protected.

BTW here you will find the available config options. :)
