Some foreword to explain my thoughts: I would like to see a new original Jolla Phone that comes mainly as an hardware update of the first Jolla (1), just with...
- more RAM
- more Space
- MUCH better camera
- dual sim (like Jolla C aka Intex Aqua Fish)
- Qi
- TOH-Standard (so with same spec as Jolla 1 has):
Because Jolla does not manufacture hardware anymore (sadly in my eyes) I would hope for a partnership with Fairphone, because...
- would be a good matching: while Jolla concentrates on software, Fairphone does on hardware
- both have a strong community
- customers of both share similar goals like privacy and sustainability
- both companies have underdog bonus
- there are already attempts for a Sailfish port to the Fairphone 2
So here is me question:
Given this more evolutionary approach WOULD YOU support a backing campaign for developing a Fairphone-Jolla-Smartphone with the named features?
If NOT, what does it need to make you support this?
Yes, I would support it. And I want to have a new devicethat comes with Sailfish pre-installed. (Currently I am stuck with my brand-new SIM-lock free Xperia X because it has bootloader that cannot be unlocked...)

Android causes harware competition amongst phone suppliers and at the same time kills innovation due to lowering margins. If my $ backing is needed to make them see that I don't need to back them.
