Downgrading to Android 6 to backup DRM keys before install
I am trying to downgrade to Marshmallow before unlocking bootloader but Flashtool just says like this: 13/056/2017 17:56:33 - INFO - No flash script found. 13/056/2017 17:56:33 - INFO - Flash script is mandatory. Closing session 13/056/2017 17:56:33 - INFO - Ending flash session 13/056/2017 17:56:33 - INFO - Flashing finished.
Tried three different firmwares. Under ~/.flashTool/devices/F51XX exists 34.0.fsc 34.2.fsc 34.3.fsc that should be flash scripts? Tried copying 34.0.fsc to 34.0.A.2.301.fsc as it is listed under the firmware tree but did not help.
How did you download the firmwares? I used the xperifirm that is integrated into flashtool. When xperifirm finished, flashtool showed a prompt asking if I want to use the flash script it had found. The flash script is applied when flashtool converts the downloaded files to whatever format it will keep, i.e., before you even start the flashing process.

Downloaded firmware according to this: http://sailfishmods.de/2017/07/howto-sony-xperia-x-teil-1-cda-drm-keys-bootloader/ . Now keys are backed up.
